The Creating And Designing Research About City Spirit Of Place Based On The Context Of Old City In Jinan

In China, with the fast development of cities, there have been numerous challenges of characteristics of crisis and cultural aphasia. One effective approach is shaping the city spirit of space by using context continuous guidance to protect the features of the city. On the basis of relevant theory and case analysis to interpret guiding ideology of city context continues and construct the elementary system of the city spirit of place shaping. Then this paper will take old city in Jinan as an example to explore the strategy of shaping of the city spirit of place under the guidance of city context continuity.In this paper, the research follows the proposed research topic-related theory and cases analysis-city context oriented thoughts-build elements system of the cities place spirit shaping-study the specific urban area as an example train of thought. The objective of the paper draws the relationship between "context" and "place" and put forward the paper focuses. In the first chapter, based on the current problems of city development, purpose and meaning, scope and objects, ideas and methods of this paper have been proposed. In the second chapter, research on the achievement of context and place, then refine the core idea and put forward the thinking of results of previous studies. The author explained oriented mind of context continue to detail in the third chapter. And put forward to the urban context category of "time", "space" and "people" three elements.In the forth chapter, the details about feature of place, establishment of evaluation criteria and the construction of shaping of the city spirit of place step by step are discussed. In the fifth chapter, the author analyzes the present conditions of context and place about the old city in Jinan which give a material base of space spirit build strategy. In the sixth chapter, under the framework of the shape of the city spirit of place, combining the current situation of the old city in Jinan, puts forward different strategy research on different types of places of shaping and try to establish a link between places to construct a space system of old city in Jinan. Finally, summarize conclusion, point out the deficiency of research papers, and put propose the hopes and expectations about this thesis.
