The Research And Application Of TRIZ Based Patent Around Product Innovative Design

Along with the rapid economic development and increasing globalization of manufacturing, intellectual property is increasingly valued by the enterprises. If the enterprises want to keep a dominant position in the market competition, they need to break through the patent barriers set by the leaders and form independent intellectual property rights in the process of product research. Patent design around is derived from the concept of patent infringement determination procedure, means to design a new scheme which has different scope with the patent by studying others patent to avoid their patent rights. Generally, it’s usually depends on the experience of research and development personnel to design the new solution. TRIZ theory is a method of guiding people to innovate, but because of its large theoretical system, it’s various tools can’t be made full used by the enterprises. Therefore, forming the process and method which combined TRIZ and patent design around is very important for enterprise to improve product design ability and efficiency.Based on the above background, this paper has done research on the process and method of TRIZ based patent around innovative design. Firstly, arrange the whole theoretical system of TRIZ theory, the commonly used analytical tools and contradiction solve tools of TRIZ theory have been introduced. Next, integrating patent design around and TRIZ theory to the traditional product design process, and TRIZ based patent around innovative design has been proposed. The paper also introduced the concrete application process of the four key steps:the obtain of effective patent, patent information analysis, problem resolution and determination of the new scheme, infringement determination and knowledge management process. In the step of problem resolution and determination of the new scheme, the patent around strategies based on elements change which is derived from the patent creative review have been put forward, in order to help enterprises to do product design by standing on the point of innovative view. What’s more, the corresponding relationship of design around strategies and TRIZ tools have been proposed, have supplied recommended around design strategies for each function type and different TRIZ problem solving tools for each kind of around design strategies, in order to help enterprises use TRIZ more convenient and quickly. Finally, using twoexamples -- film package device around verify design and flower package innovative design, through these two forms-- a target patent to another effective patent, a target patent to another new innovation design, to verify the feasibility of the process and method proposed in this paper.The proposed process and design method in this paper are suitable for actual situations of the enterprises, and are systemic and integrity. Through the two examples show that the process and method have the feasibility and practicability, can help enterprises to do patent around innovative design quickly and efficiently by standing on the point of innovation view.
