With the continuous improvements of packaging quality and labor efficiency, manual palletizing has already greatly limited for production efficiency. Palletizing production line has great potential in solving labor shortage, improving labor productivity and the production environment. Therefore, research on palletizing production line has important practical significance.According to the survey, flexible packaging bags palletizing production line in the paper belongs to higher palletizer and uses “2-3marshalling” as its marshalling way. Workflow of main equipment in the production line is as follows: Turning bags mechanism pushes the bag down, and then the bags are transported along the conveyor belt maintaining horizontal position; Shaping mechanism can flatten the bag to achieve the effect of orderliness; Indexing mechanism can spin the bag 90 degrees in order to meet the “2-3marshalling” need of the marshalling; Marshalling mechanism will marshal the bag into collections of “two horizontal” or “three vertical”. Pushing bags mechanism will push the organized bags to suspension area or laminating area of the laminating mechanism; After the bags dropping down through the laminating mechanism, pressing bags mechanism planes the bags smoothly; Loaded tray repeats the vertical up-and-down movement drove by elevator to accomplish palletizing; The loaded tray falls down to bearing tray conveyor and then is transported to the area waiting to be carried away by forklift; At the same time, tray warehouse will send out an empty tray automatically and tray conveyor transports it to tray location for palletizing. The whole design scheme of the palletizing production line is made based on the workflow of flexible packaging bags palletizing production line. Through analyzing the functions of each main equipment, design of the main equipment is completed though design calculations, structure selection, check calculation and mechanical system. At last, Control logic of PLC is made by analyzing of the working process of flexible packaging bags palletizing production line. I/O is distributed according to the input/output signal. Then, type of PLC and extension unit are selected. Control program is wrote using ladder diagram and debugged in the lab.Flexible packaging bags palletizing line can perform palletizing automatically for powder and granular materials such as chemical fertilizer and flour, etc. Through PLC, the whole system process can be automatically controlled. The device has the advantages of simple operation, reliable performance, cost effective, etc. Therefore it is expected to have a good application prospect.
