Stone masonry structure has a long history, arguably, masonry structure was born at the same time with the human civilization, it marks the birth of civil engineering. So far, the stone masonry is still one of the main housing structure of urban residents in our country.In an earthquake-prone region of Tibet, dwellings mostly stone-wood structure,most Tibetan stone-wood structure dwellings without design,no guarantee of strength of materials and construction quality, which bring certain difficulty to earthquake resistance and disaster prevention.This paper conducted the following research work for Tibetan stone-wood structure based on Tibet all previous earthquake:First, summarized several major structural form of Tibetan stone-wood structure dwellings and their respective characteristics through the analysis of past seismic hazard investigation data,and analyzed the main forms of seismic hazard in Tibetan stone-wood structure residential, and give some advice to construction, repair and strengthening in the future.Second, theoretical analysis of numerical simulation to Tibetan stone-wood structure dwellings by ANSYS.Third, analysis the modal of the selected Tibetan stone-wood structure dwellings, and concluded that structural natural vibration period and the first eight order vibration mode, and analyzed.Fourth, analyze the selected Tibetan stone-wood structure dwellings in EL-Centro wave, Taft wave and tianjin wave, and get displacement and acceleration response.Fifth, analysis the selected Tibetan stone-wood structure dwellings in the rarely met earthquake, get displacement and acceleration response and Shear stress nephogram, find the weak parts of the structure dwellings, and give advice to residential construction, repair and strengthening aimed at these weak regions.
