Straddle- type monorail vehicle is a typical system, which has the advantages of covering small area, climbing large slope, small curvature diameter line operation, riding comfort, safety,small noise and its track has simple structure, low construction cost, especially suitable for the city of more mountainous, complex terrain, dense buildings, such as Chongqing. But in the process of promoting straddle type monorail vehicle people doubts about the dust environmental issues caused by the tire, which affect the promotion of urban monorail car. This paper studies the monorail train aerodynamics and tire dust with the diffusion law of monorail train movement.The main work of this paper are as follows:1.Simulate the aerodynamic characteristics of straddle-type monorail vehicle’s head carriage, getting the aerodynamic force coefficients, analyses the characteristics of velocity field and pressure field.2.Based on the tire dust which caused by coupling flow field of head carriage, analyses the characteristics of dust diffusion trajectory, diffusion domain, and analyses the impact of dust diffusion on motor vehicle lanes,pedestrians on the sidewalk which on both sides of the track beam.3.Simulating head-on driving of two straddle-type monorail vehicle, obtained the regularity of aerodynamic force coefficient of variation, analyses the characteristics of variation stress field.4.Obtained the walking wheel dust diffusion domain of different head-on driving position, analyses the characteristics of walking wheel dust diffusion in diferent crossing position, analyses the impact of dust diffusion on motor vehicle lanes,pedestrians on the sidewalk which on both sides of the track beam in the situation of train crossing.
