Regeneration Performance Of Cold Patch Asphalt Material Research And Application

The pothole is one of the main diseases of asphalt pavement in our country, the pavement pothole repair method mainly has two kinds: hot and cold fill method.Cold repair method is widely used with the green environmental protection, rapid construction, repair of high quality,convenient transportation, can repair the pothole of pavement at low temperature and rainy weather conditions.Pavement recycling as a kind of asphalt pavement repair technology, which can make full use of waste asphalt mixture of original pavement milling down, the old materials in asphalt was recovered to some extent,after repair of waste asphalt regeneration material for pavement,pavement rutting ability has improved significantly.This paper force on how to use the waste asphalt mixture into the cold patch, the research and application of cold recycling asphalt mixture. The key is how to put the cold welding technology and recycling technology combined, after contrast to the Cold Patch Asphalt Mixture laboratory preparation process and the preparation process of hot recycled asphalt mixture laboratory system, the writer designed the regeneration of Cold Patch Asphalt Mixture Laboratory mixing process, this process combined the hot recycling technology and cold patch very good together, the old materials in asphalt was recycled, at the same time, the mixing performance of cold patch material meet the application requirements.In cold fluid configuration process, the writer studied the proportion of matrix asphalt, isolating agent, add cold patching additive, and the cold fluid configuration of viscosity detection, results show that cold fluid configuration which meets the requirements of petroleum. In the regeneration of Cold Patch Asphalt Mixture Ratio Design, the writer puts forward a new method to determine the optimum asphalt content by the empirical formula and test method of trace on the paper, Marshall method did not use in the design work. after the comprehensive of domestic and foreign cold patch material evaluation method, the writer establish the regeneration of cold patch asphalt mixture the evaluation system, including cohesion, adhesion, initial stability, forming an ideal stability, stability, water stability(immersion Marshall test and freeze~thaw splitting test), storage and workability evaluation of cold recycling asphalt mixture, the test methods and evaluation index of each personality of cold recycling asphalt mixture;general cold patch material preparation of mixing process of cold patch material as thecontrol group, the two types of Cold Patch Asphalt Mixture for the test, test results show that the two types of cold patch material properties meet the requirements.On the cold regeneration of asphalt mixture production, storage and construction three aspects are described. The writer describes the places which need attention in production, storage and construction of the cold regeneration of asphalt mixture production.
