| Since the railway transportation was born in 19th century, it has been moving towards to a high-speed development. High-speed railway transportation has large passenger capacity, strong and fast delivery, good safety, more punctual, more convenience and comfort with low energy consumption and high economic and social benefits. So now high-speed railway is a common trend in the development of railway industry all over the world.High-speed railway had many operation accidents caused by equipment failure all over the world during the past decades, because of the high speed and huge capacity of high-speed railway, these accidents seriously affected the safety and punctuality of railway transportation, some serious accidents even caused life and property loss of passengers. So prevent the occurrence of traffic accidents and equipment failure is the unremitting pursuit of high-speed railway operation department.Pantograph-catenary system is an important subsystem of the high-speed railway, as an important equipment of EMU, pantograph plays a vital role in the operation of high-speed railway. Ensure of pantograph fault does not appear during the EMU operation and how to quickly identify the cause of the pantograph failure occurs during operation and solve the problem has become an important issue in the operation of high speed railway. Risk management is a systematic and dynamic method of measurement and control of risk, fault tree analyze is an important tool to study the stability of the system, so risk management and fault tree analyze is an important method and tool for the subject mentioned above.This paper takes EMU in Beijing West EMU Deport as samples, according to the theory of risk management and fault tree analysis, introduced the CRH EMU and CRH380 EMU systematically, chose DSA380 pantograph and CX-PG pantograph which were use on CRH380 EMU as samples, analyzed the working principle of the two types of pantograph, then carried out the importance of pantograph failure analysis. The most important part of this paper is according to the failure data of pantograph in Beijing West EMU Deport, classified the all the failures to different types, then built the FTA model, analyzed the FTA model of DSA380 pantograph equipped on CRH380A/AL high-speed EMU, after quantitative and qualitative analysis, the result shows that the failure probability of pantograph is 3.88 times per million kilometer, also, the key importance of all types of failures shows that the dirty of pantograph and bad weather is the most important factor caused the pantograph failure, the actual operation failure data confirmed the conclusion. According to the fault tress analysis conclusion, based on the characteristics of China’s high-speed railway situation, carried out countermeasures and daily maintenance instructions for pantograph, which can effectively reduce the influence of electric failure frequency and the failure that brings.Through the study of this paper we can find out that pantograph failure is an important factor affects the safety and punctual of EMU operation. Scientific analysis can not only greatly reduce the probability of occurrence of pantograph failure, but also in power on trouble shooting quickly and accurately when failure occurs. Also this paper has a certain reference to the high-speed EMU operation in China. |
