High-speed rail is one of the major transportation of long distance travelling. It has high speed, large capacity, high level of service, good stability, less impact on the environment and low energy consumption. High-speed train has become one of transportation modes that more and more countries scrambling to develop. It has been more and more popular in passengers, especially for business people, commuters and travelers. High-speed rail is developing very fast in China, until December 28th 2014, the mileage of high-speed railway in China reached 16,000 kilometers, the total operating mileage (about 6800 kilometers) accounts for nearly 50% of the whole world. China has the fastest growing high-speed rail system technology the most comprehensive, integrated the strongest, longest operating mileage, maximum speed of operation and the largest construction.High-speed rail passenger transport terminal is an important transportation mode in passengers’high-speed rail travel, as well as an important transfer node between urban internal transportation network and external one. It provides a distribution platform of variety transportation modes, aiming to solve transfer problems between internal and external transport network. High-speed railway’s speed upgrade not only makes the transfer in high-speed rail passenger terminal consume increasingly larger proportion, but also makes the transfer penalty for passengers travel and high-speed rail service increasingly more serious. This paper analyze the service objects and the factors which influence passengers’ transfer route choice behavior at the high-speed rail passenger transport terminal. Based on a SP (Stated Preference) survey and orthogonal design theory, the passenger transfer route choice scenarios which includes the potential factors was designed. The survey was accomplished in Dalian North Station. According to the survey results, this paper used Binary Logit model to establish the utility function. The results show that:(1) Passenger’s personal attributes affect passengers transfer route choice behavior at the high-speed rail passenger transport terminal directly or indirectly, which includes passenger’s gender, travel frequency, income, trip purpose and the number of luggage.(2) Considering the fact that passengers have certain needs for electric vehicles and other means of alternative tools for walking, the cost significantly affects passengers’choice of choosing the electric vehicles to transfer. Meanwhile, the supply situation of escalators and lifts is significantly affects the level of service of the transfer facility. Passengers are sensitive to time of drop-off points to the high-speed rail passenger transport terminal, waiting time in the waiting room and time of waiting room to the high speed train, which shows side effects. Finally, according to the test results of the passenger’s transfer route choice behavior at the high-speed rail passenger transport terminal model, this paper set up a transportation facilities laid model whose target is to minimize the overall passenger transfer impedance.
