| The two key factors of affecting the port transportation’s cost is advanced operation systems and reasonable operations optimization scheme in container terminal. With the sharp increase of container throughput, which makes the need of terminal handling and storage capacity improved. The use of advanced handling equipment and operation and the terminal operations optimization management could help improve the terminal throughput capacity and operational efficiency, then save the cost. This paper according to the research on the operation of container terminals and container yard operation of process optimization, compared to analysis of the operation of container terminals advanced technology, proposed optimization model about the reshuffle optimization of export containers based on virtual link, designed the iterative search algorithm. Details are as follows:Analysis and comparative study about the advanced container terminal operations process. According to the development of advanced container terminal operation system, we discuss the AGV/ALV automation of container terminal handling system, the stereo rail automatic container terminal system and the layout. We use the simulation to analysis the handling operation performance, including the operation efficiency, the equipment utilization and so on. Then, we discuss a new-type handling systems of Automated container terminal—the viaduct type. Finally, we make a comparison of these advanced container terminal operation systems. That can provide a reference for container terminal operation process design and optimization.The optimization model about the reshuffle optimization of export containers based on virtual link. We firstly analyzes the key factors of reshuffle in container yard, then analyze the path of reshuffle and come up with a method of representation based on virtual link. At the last, we turned the problem of reshuffle into two sub-problems to set two models to reduce the number of container movement and the crane’s working time respectively.The study of algorithm. According to the feature of the model based on virtual link, we designed the iterative search algorithm based on three-stage. The first phase is to generate an initial feasible movement sequence, the second phase is to form a super movement sequence to optimize the number of container movement. The third phase adds decision variables of the time dimension to minimize the crane’s working time based the second phase. Then the numerical testing results show that the accuracy of iterative search algorithm in this paper can bebetter than the heuristic algorithm in literature 8] and OH and IH algorithm while solving general scale problem, it also can meet real-time requirements. What’s more, the search space of proposed algorithm is small in each iteration while solving larger-scale problem, which can meet the need of solving the actual size. |
