The Retrofit Design Of New Century Square In Xingtai Qinghe

As China’s urbanization level continues to increase, the city square as urban cultural connotation and landscape features, to meet the demand of urban function, become an important part of urban planning design. There are many problems, such as the scale is unfavorable,the function is not complete, machine-made,etc, in the city square construction in our country. On the basis of meeting the principles of urban planning,design to reflect the local natural and cultural features, meeting the demand of residents function, picturesque landscape, ecological environment in the development of city square space, become the focus of current research.This paper based on the related theory of city square, defined and classified the city square, to summed up the square in the design should follow the principle of ecosystem integrity, humanity, innovative, etc, and combining the city square design case from cultural, function, space, art, based on the analysis of five different point of view, to experience the advantages of the successful city square in the design, for the study of urban square design learning experiences.On this basis, through the research about the the history and culture, natural conditions of Qinghe county and status investigation of the new century square, learned about that there exists problems in the design of the new century square,such as the space is empty, single function, scenery monotonous, etc, and aiming at these disadvantages, modification and redesign. Retrofit scheme use on either side of the main shaft link style layout, overall by the central fountain square as the center, on the layout to undertake urban spatial axis of Qinghe county, formed along the axis is asymmetric, but a balanced spatial structure. In the expressions of the central axis, fully given square space diversity and space "axis", form "one center, three axis, four zones" of landscape layout.Square can be divided into the entrance area, cultural area, activity area, ecological and activity center to express urban culture, adding services to meet the functional requirements, enriching plant configuration, manifesting the characteristic planting,continuation of ecological nature, the design of the new century square of Qinghe become complex public open space, to make the area of urban space quality space function to get the real ascension.Finally, the city square design points are summarized as follows: first of all conformto the requirements of the urban planning, the position is reasonable, the transportation is convenient, in harmony with the surrounding environment; Meeting the needs of citizens in public places, landscape art creation is excellent, elements properly, the improvement and maintenance management in place, service facilities is practical and humanized;Making it has the cultural connotation and reflects the regional characteristics, personality is distinct, scale is appropriate and pleasant; Reflected ecological superior natural environment, to improve the urban microclimate environment.
