Living Space Design Of Autistic People

In recent years, the number of people with autism diagnosed gradually increase. According to the centers for disease control and prevention (CDC) data report in 2012, the incidence of autism spectrum disorder for one in every 88 children. The increasing high incidence of disease has attracted more attention by professionals from various disciplines related closely year by year. The autism disease usually shows about:abnormal emotion, lack of communication, stereotyped behavior patterns. So far, the disease has no healing therapy, only through guide therapy and intervention therapy for patients to return to normal life as much as possible. In the United States and other countries, autism care institutions are relatively perfect, not only have advanced treatment equipment, but also through special interior space design to give patients a certain heart hint, influence and improve patients psychological status imperceptibly. The experiment has reached to relieve symptoms in patients with good effect.At present, our country is lack of autism professional treatment and care center, facilities is yet to be perfect in every way. Patients with intervention treatment can’t be done once or several times, it needs long-term behavior guidance and system training. In terms of patients’families, there is no clear cognition which is suitable for autism patients with life space. Inappropriate forms of space, it will have a negative impact on the patients. Thus it can be seen, to explore the suitable space design for autism patients is necessary. This article launches the research for this problem, come to the conclusion that is suitable for people with autism of living space should follow the principle, which is about, corner principle, pure space principle, be fond of psychological suggestion principle.These three principles are not only about people with autism treatment rehabilitation needs, but also the principles of spatial design which is suitable for people with autism. The greatest sense of existence about care center is to enable patients to perfect their personalities, and return to normal. Based on the design of the "Innocent" care center, which is to create a suitable living space for people with autism, use the space language to guide the behavior of patients, to form the auxiliary part of treatment. Present the inner world of people with autism for the masses at the same time, calling for social groups to face up the psychological state of patients, respecting the patient’s physical characteristics.
