Pressure vessel equipment are commonly used in industrial production, the traditional way of quotation is based on experience to estimate price which causes low efficiency and low accuracy of bidding quotation in pressure vessel companies, especially with the increasing competition pressure in vessel industry, the traditional way of quotation has been unable to meet the needs of the bidding quotation in enterprises. Therefore, the pressure vessel equipment quotation method and the related research of the system are getting more attention of the pressure vessel manufacturing industry.This paper sums up the features of pressure vessel equipments and the present situation of products quotation system, it is based on quotation requirements and procedures of a pressure vessel manufacturing company to in-depth analysis and model mainly about material cost, manufacturing cost and parts classification of pressure vessel equipments. It proposes pressure vessel equipment comprehensive quotation method, that is, equipment material cost calculation method which is based on the quotation BOM and manufacturing cost estimation method which is based on BP neural network algorithm, finally it develops a set of pressure vessel equipment quotation system which is based on the Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2008 and the system is applied to the practical in enterprises.The main research content of this article is as follows:1. This article establishes quotation model of pressure container which is based on the analysis of the pressure vessel quotation characteristics and the quotation composition, this model can estimate material costs and processing costs.2. This article introduces the classification of BOM and builds the BOM quotation. It is based on quotation BOM and parts classification and according to the similarity of the parts to calculate similar parts. Then it proposes the material ration calculation method of parts.3. This article establishes BP network structure and parameter model which are used in the estimation of pressure vessel manufacturing cost, and this model gives the manufacturing cost estimation method.4. This article detailed analysis the requirements of pressure vessel quotation system which contains system function model and work flow, it establishes the overall architecture of the system and database structure, it also develops a set of pressure vessel products quotation system which is based on C/S architecture.
