Research On The Protection And Update Of Human Settlement In Zhaibuchang Ancient Village

The Zhaibuchang ancient village in Jiaozuo of Henan province,located in the Taihang piedmont alluvial plain,is a village with distinctive local characteristics and profound historical and cultural heritage,it not only has a harmony environment between man and nature,but also has a high traditional cultural、historical and artistic value,which is the most representative cultural relics in the north area of Henan province.For a deeper understanding of the living environment of Zhaibuchang village, the author adopted the research method of literature data collection,field investigation and combined with the theoretical analysis,firstly analyzed the natural environment、history evolution、social and cultural background of Zhaibuchang village, believed that the nature worship,ancestor worship and the god worship is the main spiritual beliefs in the village,farming、reading、official and business is the mainstream local culture; then the author carried further analysis on the whole settlements pattern and the local-style dwelling houses architectural forms,believed that the "Relying on the mountain and next to the water" geographic pattern、 "Turtle-type artistic conception" plane form、 "Wang’s dominant" structural layout and "Three vertical and five horizontal" street distribution constituted the main settlement pattern of Zhaibuchang ancient villages, meanwhile, the author did a detailed analysis on the key residential buildings、public buildings and remaining landscapes of the village.The author put forward the settlements protection and update recommendations,summarized the development and regeneration mode,according to the analysis of the existing problems and protection value of Zhaibuchang ancient village,which provided a detailed case for the study on living environment of the north area of Henan Province,and offered certain reference for future construction of the village and contemporary settlements planning.
