Heavy rains occur frequently in Xijiang River basin in Guangxi,which may easily lead to severe floods and bring the plain area of the middle and lower disastrous consequences.Therefore,to study on the optimal flood-control operation of the main stream reservoir of Xijiang River basin in Guangxi has the great significance.Based on the measured flood information,this paper analyzes the basin flood characteristics and chooses 12 different types of typical flood to make the flood routing computation through the Muskingum method and analyzes the flood control effect and the deficiencies of the existing reservoirs;on this basis,to establish the joint optimization scheduling model of Longtan reservoir and Datengxia reservoir aiming at the shortcomings of the initial scheduling rules and use genetic algorithm to optimize the new model.The results show that Wuzhou flood is mainly caused by the encounter of floods in the Liujiang river and Hongshui river;Longtan reservoir has important control action to the main river flood control, but the flood regulation effect of the middle and lower reaches is not beautiful;through the single reservoir optimal operation, it can further reduce the flood of the middle and lower reaches, Peak flow up to more cuts after 1883 m3/s;after the joint optimization scheduling of Longtan and Datengxia reservoirs,under the initial schedule rules,it can basically achieve the flood control target of the two reservoirs joint operation,but the flood control effect is poorer when the water inflow is large in Liujiang river;in order to strengthen the flood control effect of Liujiang river and the main stream of Hongshuihe river, set up Two libraries joint optimization scheduling model and make two optimization scheme. Optimization results show that, Plan a second flood control effect overall than good. there are 36 games in the process of flood water under different degree of optimization.The combined dispatching between Longtan reservoir and Datengxia reservoir greatly alleviate the flood control pressure of the middle and lower reaches of Xijiang River after Datengxia reservoir is finished.The research results of this article can provide reference for Xijiang river reservoir flood control scheduling in Guangxi and promote and further improve the construction of flood control system in Guangxi.
