Chinese classical garden is the wor d’s three most important landscape system, with its unique style and culture to show the world the ancien t Chinese garden art features, and Tibet’s garden is a repres entative of the Chinese minority garden essence, is the Chinese classical garden, part of the landscape types, is the highest elevation in the world garden, has become a display card, T ibetan ethnic culture is unique in the world botanical garden system. In the long deve lopment process to for m the unique T ibetan landscape concept, and the char acteristics of the layout, unique ethnic culture gives its unique aesthetic art, therefore, not onl y to the study of T ibetan landscape can supplement the content of the study of Chinese classical ga rden, digging the characteristics of T ibetan culture landscap e, more detailed understanding of T ibetan culture has a great practical si gnificance. In the paper,first of all, using the m ethod of theoretical analysis of the definitio n of the concept of T ibetan landscape, traces the origin of T ibetan landscape, discussed its stage of development, combined with the principle of departm ent of Chinese classical garden is divided into embryonic stage, forming stage and mature stage. According to the landscape characteristics of each stage and its subordinate relations will be divided into manor gardens, temple garden and four kinds of fort. From the principles of garden landscape, secondly, material factors affect the landscape, the idea of landscape factor s the landscape construction in T ibet. The stage from Tibet, on the basis of the natura l environment, appropriate to im prove the harsh environment of their lives, to build ”the second nature ”, combined with different kinds of plants and the color of the floor co lor and garden to build four seasons garden characteristic. Mainland Tibetan Buddhism culture, the Confucianism, Taoism culture and the influence of foreign culture, the scenery of Tibet into a variety of cultural art fusion. Then, through field investigation and study, combined with the existing examples from two aspects of garden lands cape scenic area la yout and architectural layout analysis to discuss the layout of the Tibetan landscape artistic features. Finally, this article induces and summarizes the ar tistic features of Tibetan landscape: the coexistence of man and nature of the core concepts of the landscape construction under the influence of Tibetan Buddhism.
