In recent years, 3D CAD/CAM software is widely used in machinery, aerospace,Automobile, shipbuilding and other fields. This promoting the development of digital manufacturing technology in aircraft industry, and some backward traditional manufacturing technology are gradually replaced. Glue is an important technology in manufacturing of aircraft, also requires a constantly updated technology. However, because of the structure and the working state of the aircraft, artificial seal coating operation is still widely used in the aircraft industry. So it is urgent to design a automatic coating equipment. So that we can reduce the labor intensity of workers, improve the working environment, improve the quality of seal coating and control the coating weight.The purpose of this paper is to design a general automatic glue robot for aircraft wing.According to the work arrangement, This paper mainly studies the gluing machine motion control strategies and methods. The specific work is as follows.1.The objective and significance of this research have been analyzed, as well as the domestic and overseas status of the industrial robot development. This paper described the feasibility about replace the traditional manual gluing by glue robot.2.Based on the glue spreading robot work demand, put forward the reasonable glue structure of multi DOF. To meet the requirements of automatic glue movement in the selection and configuration aspects of the hardware. Through a series of optimization analysis, can improve dynamic performance of robot and achieve rapid, stability, safety gluing operation.3.Through the research of various interpolation algorithm, selection and derived algorithm for automatic glue machine interpolation principle. Through interpolation calculation can obtain a uniform speed, improve the coating quality,Simplified control method.4.Through the research on the coating machine function and control requirements,design the right angle coordinate robot motion control system based on PLC. This paper details the hardware about system function and structure, Mainly introduces the servo control system. Software aspect, introduces the system software structure, the flow control, mainly introduces PLC port assignment, interpolation process and communicationpattern.
