With the development of the automotive industrial, the safety requirement becomes more important for a new car. In addition, with the law requirement, all the cars must have ABS(Anti Locking Braking System) integrated. That’s the reason why more and more companies are trying to localize the ABS at China. As a manufacture engineer, my key target is to develop the machine which can fulfill the requirement and make sure the shipped parts are qualified.1. ABS function test:we are using high pressure instead of oil to test the ABS basic function. Develop each process in order to test each valve/coils’are correctly open or close. All the function will be monitored via a really sensitive pressure switch. ECU command is sent via the PLC system.2. ECU function test:we are using a National Instrument card to simulate the wheel speed to check whether the ECU can give the correct feedback during the special situation.3. With the development of the business, company would like to reduce the cost of the components, ECU is also considered as one option. During the ECU localization, there must be a lot of issues that may happen. Design rules are created in order to reduce the mistake which could be avoided during the design stage.
