Research On Automatic Fare Collection System Of Urban Rail Transit Station

Urban rail transit AFC system is through the computer, statistics, finance and other professional knowledge of the integrated use of automated systems to ticket sales, ticket checking, billing, charging, statistics, settlement and operation management of the whole process, at the same time provide all kinds of information support for decision makers. The station computer system layer and the station terminal device layer in the AFC are collectively referred to as urban rail transit station automatic fare collection system. The system is directly facing the passengers, providing passengers with ticket sales, ticket checking and recharges services, it is also the key of metro operation.In this paper, the actual needs of urban rail transit AFC system for station as a starting point, while meeting the station AFC system requirements for the practice of the vocational colleges. Through the study of ticket vending machine, ticket checking machine and other stations terminal device, ascertaining their functions, working principles, methods, equipment components, hardware architecture and software functionality, summed up the urban rail transit station AFC simulation system design with the basic operational functions for teaching and research, and manufactured in-kind. This paper describes the hardware architecture and software design of ticket vending machine and ticket checking machine. Finally, this paper gives the system test plan, analysis of test results and suggests improvements direction.
