With the development of science and technology,high precise precision time and phase synchronization technology are being played a significant role in many fields such as satellite navigation and positioning technology, network communication, military and national defense etc.. As the premise of time and phase synchronization, not only high precision phase measurement technology is becoming a hot spot of research at home and abroad, and has tremendous impetus to the progress of other high- tech fields. At present, compared with the European and American countries there is still a big gap between the domestic phase measurement technique, in order to achieve technological breakthroughs, it is necessary to explore new measurement theory and the new method of high precision measurement.This article introduce several traditional methods of phase difference measurement and analysis of its principle at the beginning. Next we made analysis and study on the law of phase change between frequency signal in detail by using the method of mathematical deduction and waveform comparison. A series of concepts of phase relationship between the frequency signals are proposed, such as the equivalent phase comparison, phase quantum, group of cycle, phase group synchronous etc. The comparison between any nominal frequency value signals become a reality by using the theory of group phase, and the measure precision of frequency signals is improved greatly. The border effect of measurement is proposed according to the experimenta l phenomenas that the measure resolution of measurement systems is far more than the measure resolution of measuring components based on the theory of group phase. Because of the resolution of measuring components is always finite,it is difficult to comple te the high accuracy measurement using the traditional measurement methods. However, a high resolution method of frequency signals comparison is proposed by researching the border effect, and precision of the measurement system is improved extremely in the case of the resolution of measuring components unchanged by this method.The border effect of measurement is applied to the measurement of phase difference, and then a method of phase difference measurement is put forward based on the introduction of media tion signals source,and the frequency of the mediation signals source is adjustable, with comparing the mediation source with the two measured signals respectively, signals is strictly synchronous in the measurement and the count quantization error is basically eliminated; the shortcomings of the existing technology such as Large volume, high cost, complex transformation between time domain and frequency domain can be overcome, and it is easy to Simplify the measuring circuit, reduces the manufacturing cost and effectively improve the accuracy of measurement equipment. In this paper, the measurement system is developed jointly by MC U and FPGA. This paper introduced the function of each module in the system and its design principle in detail, and then the hardware circuit design and electromagnetic compatibility design principle of the measurement system is presented. In the end, Through the analysis of measurement data, find out the error source and the deficiency existing in the system of measurement.
