Railway transportation occupies very important position in the social life of human beings, it provides safe, rapid, accurate, convenient and economical transportation service for the social logistics and trade, and guarantees the stability of the people’s life and the sustainable development of national economy. In our country, the railway mainly divided into state-owned railway and enterprises of railway, the enterprise railway is an important part of the national transport system and its own railway undertake the task of the main products and raw materials transportation. It can be seen that transportation management directly influences the quality of an enterprise with its own production. With the popularization of computer technology and information technology in recent years, informatization, automation has become the inevitable trend of enterprise development. But throughout the current situation of petrochemical enterprise, it is not difficult to find that there are lots of problems for the transportation management system, especially the compilation of shunting plan remain behind the traditional way of manual operation, it not only costs a lot of manpower material resources, but also the efficiency is low, leads to the disorderly production, this is the urgent problem for enterprise needs to solve.Given the current research situation at home and abroad in this field, as well as the problems existing in the management system of railway transportation and petrochemical enterprises into a dilemma, this article will be based on the analysis of their own characteristics, transportation management, complex working process, shunting operation preparation principle, on the basis of the content such as switch operation management optimization research, the optimization of the shunting operation plan.Paper first analyzes the research background and significance, to the enterprise railway technical operation, concrete transportation situation of petrochemical enterprise and so on has carried on the detailed introduction and analysis. Then according to the above information for operation plan formulation is optimized. Focusing on shunting plan solution and take the two subsystems, the establishment of a scientific and detailed mathematical model. From chapter 5 examples of simulation results it can be seen that after the model optimization of shunting plan than traditional operation plan solution and take deliver time ahead, more scientific and reasonable plan, to some extent improve the precision of compiling, and effectively improve the efficiency of the transportation scheduling, finally realized the purpose of the optimization of subject.
