The Schematic Study Of The Standardization Of The Cargo Ships In The Upper Middle Qiantang River

The resource of domestic rivers is very rich in our country. It is of great benefit to explore the potential of inland water transportation, which is favorable to reduce the transportation fee. Meanwhile it is helpful to reduce the energy consumption and exhaust gas emission. With the increase of the economic scale, the need of inland water transportation grows fast, which may intensify the conflicts between the resources of energy and environment. The development of inland water transportation will bring about quite a few advantages, such as saving the land resource and reducing the energy consumption. It also can boost the development of economy in riparian zones.This thesis researched on the standardization of cargo ships in the upper middle Qiantang River. Firstly, it introduced the background and the meaning of our research, then summarized the state-of-the-art of the research area. Briefly it described the status and the planning of the shipping course in the upper middle Qiantang River. Then it analyzed the status and the possible problems in the standardization of cargo ships in the upper middle Qiantang River. The above analysis demonstrated the importance of carrying out the standardization work. In this thesis, the problem of making and implementing the schematic plan has been discussed. The main factors in the standardization work, such as the ship principal dimensions, the ship lines, the ship layout, has been analyzed and optimized. Based on the above work, it came up with some supporting measures for the implementation of the standardization of the cargo ship in the upper middle Qiantang River. As the standardization work of the cargo ship in the upper middle Qiantang River is a systematic, complicated, and synthetic project, it needs to take into account of the administrations, laws, techniques and economics. So a lot of supporting measures are necessary for the implementation of the standardization of the cargo ship in the upper middle Qiantang River.
