The taxiway is an important channel which the aircraft uses to move between therunway and the airfield on the airport field. As civil airports’ operation scale expands,the airport’s configuration becomes increasingly complex, the possibility of collisionevents happening between aircraft on the taxiway region becomes higher and higher,how to take a more effective method of collision detection is quite essential now.Considering the taxiway’s regional distribution characteristics and dynamics of theaircraft’s operations, this thesis studies the key technologies of taxiway conflictdetection and alert. Through predicting the future state of the taxiway occupied by theaircraft, this thesis mainly researches the detection method of schedule conflictsbetween the aircraft. It proposes the construction method of the taxiway road networkmodel which is featured with the critical exclusion, and then it defines two types ofairport element components which are also featured with the critical exclusion. On thisbasis, it further finishes the construction of the taxiing conflicts detection model andanalyzes the algorithm implementation process in detail. It comprehensively describesthe process of the taxiing conflicts detection and alert system. This thesis studies thetarget prediction tracking method, the map’s drawing, the road network modeling, themodel of taxiway collision detection and the algorithm implementation method. Theresearch work in this thesis has important practical significance on improving theservice quality of the air traffic control system.1. This thesis processes the aircraft’s dynamic taxiing parameters to predict andtrack the aircraft’s taxiway path, by using The Least Squares Filtering algorithm, itpreprocesses the monitoring data of the aircraft, through estimating the aircraft’ strajectory, the moving target’s location at the next time can be predicted, so that highprecision tracking of taxiing aircraft can be realized.2. The taxiing road network’s modeling. Basing on the principle of criticalresources’ exclusive access theory, it finishes the construction of the taxiway region’sroad network model, then it defines the attribute of the point and line which are thebasic elements of the taxiway road network, on this basis, two types of airports elementcomponents, which have the critical exclusion characteristics, are defined: Theintersection component and the taxiway component. The airport road network modelcan be finished with these two types of elements.3. The research on the taxiway conflict detection model and the algorithm implementation. It states the safe separation standards of taxiing aircraft, and furtherdefines three types of taxiway conflicts: the intersection conflict, the follow-up conflictand the head-to-head conflict, by traversing all the components defined, it successivelychecks potential conflicts on every component, the warning message will be given whenthe aircraft’s taxiing constraints are not satisfied.4. Simulation process. Basing on the ShuangLiu airport, it develops the airport’staxiing conflicts detection system, the model proposed in this thesis has been effectivelytested in numerical simulation of this system, further validating the correctness andfeasibility of this model.
