YaoHu regulator is located in the east entrance of YaoHu, where is in high-techdevelopment zone of Nanchang MaQiu town and it’s the main drainage channel ofYaoHu area to the red flag drainage station. The sluice is a medium-sizedcomprehensive benefit projects which takes mainly the drainage into account,balancing with tirrigation, aquaculture and tourism development. In the traditionaldesign of sluices, people always use the repeat design method, which is an inefficientmethod. Meanwhile, the final project is very influenced by both the designer’sexperience and original scheme, so it is usually not the optimal scheme. Moreover,the traditional calculate method of the sluice structure is based on separate calculatingof plate and pier, ignoring their interaction. This method is simple, but notcorrespondent with practice. As a whole, it is a reasonable analysis method to take theinteraction of floor pier and foundation into consideration.Base on the example of YaoHu brake, this article is about comparative analysisand preliminary design on design layout of the sluice. At the same time, consideringfloor, pillar and foundation as a whole frame, model was established by using ANSYSsoftware. Based on the calculation result, this paper analyses the displacement and thestress distribution of the sluice structure on three occasions: the completion period,regular operating and design flood model.Using the high efficiency of the ANSYS finite element software, several finiteelement models were established by changing the thinkness of base plate, then thecomparative analysis was taken about the force of the lock chamber structure ondifferent thickness of bottom. Calculating the reasonable base plate thickness in meetthe need of practical engineering cases and the lock chamber structure were underlocal optimization, the goal to save investment is achieved.At the last, I do the structure design of the sluice of different foundations, and Igot some beneficial conclusions.
