Research On Green Construction Management Model Based On Lean Construction

In recent years, with the increasing scarcity of resources and environmental deterioration,people focus on the construction industry which consumes so much resource and causes somuch environmental pollution. In the entire life-cycle of the construction, the constructionphase has the most direct and obvious impact on resources consumption and environment. Toachieve sustainable development in construction industry, China proposes "green construction"as a direction of future development, it also become the inevitable demand of constructionprojects and construction industry development trend. Lean construction inspired from leanthinking and lean production, it is a new construction management model which maximizesthe value for the client and minimizes the waste. Many successful foreign cases about leanconstruction also proved that lean construction has brought more quality benefit, durationbenefit, economy benefit than traditional construction management model. So this paperintroduced lean construction into green construction, establish green construction managementmodel based on lean construction.This paper firstly expounds the current research of green construction and leanconstruction at home and abroad, and summarizes the related theory of green construction andlean construction systematically; on this basis, the feasibility of integrating lean constructioninto green construction has been analyzed, and the advantage of integrating lean constructioninto green construction has been clarified; furthermore, the green construction managementmodel based on lean construction has been established, this model includes four elements: thegoal of the green construction management model based on lean construction, the contents of the green construction management model based on lean construction, the flow of the greenconstruction management model based on lean construction, the methods of the greenconstruction management model based on lean construction; and these four elements havebeen deeply analyzed; in the conclusion of the paper, the author summarizes the full paper andhas an outlook on future study.The green construction management model based on lean construction established in thispaper, is designed to reduce the waste of resource and the impact on environment, shorten theperiod, improve the quality，reduce the cost, improve customer satisfaction, enhance greenconstruction management ability and competitiveness in construction industry which has sometheoretical significance and application value.
