| Serpentine spring coupling (hereinafter referred to as grid coupling) is a widely used heavymachinery torque connecting devices and general machinery occasions. Currently, half of thecoupling tooth structure of common grid coupling has arc-shaped and straight. In foreigncountries has been widely used, and our research and application in this area is relativelysmall.With the development of society and the needs of the market, for life, damping properties,the ability to compensate, the transfer efficiency and other performanceof the couplingrequirements become more stringent, especially at high speeds coupling performance concern.This paper conducted the following studies:(1)Design a drum grid coupling, mechanical model of its important components snakespring, the theoretical derivation, and finite element analysis results were compared to prove themechanical model is feasible. Thisprovides a theoretical basis for the future flexible couplingdesign and development.(2)Application of classical mechanics to establish coupling halves drum grid coupling animportant component of the mechanical model under various loads, draw the correspondingdesign formulas and values obtained were compared with the finite element method to provemodel and design formula was established under the classical mechanics is correct. Thisprovides a complete set of mechanical models and design formulas for the drum grid coupling.(3)Application of ANSYS Workbench drum grid coupling and non-drum grid couplinganalysis and comparison results show that more drum grid coupling with a long life, hightransfer efficiency, good damping performance, etc..(4)The structure of the tooth drum grid coupling parameters were analyzed and comparedtheir results affect the parameters of stress.(5)ADAMS performed using multi-body dynamics analysis, rigid-flexible couplinganalysis in ANSYS Workbench. (6)ANSYS Workbench application assembly drum grid coupling of the coupling half andwere composed of snake spring whether stress modal analysis, and determine the critical speed,verify the drum grid coupling does not resonance phenomenon, provides a theoretical referencefor the work practice. |
