Transportation is a basic industry to promote the development of nationaleconomy,and it is must to accelerate the construction of transportation infrastructurein order to meet the needs of the development of national economy.The technology ofAirborne Light Detection and Ranging can acquire information quickly. It changes thetraditional single point data acquisition mode,and its data is continuous.AirborneLight Detection and Ranging has improved the observation accuracy and speed inhighway survey and design.The technology of Airborne Light Detection and Rangingcan not only measure area topographic map and line corridor,but also can get highaccuracy digital terrain model, and at the same time the ability of feature discriminantcan be improved with the feature image.It is foreground and advantage in such areasas surveying and designing the expressway.In this paper,for the application of Airborne Light Detection and Rangingtechnology used in Dengfeng-Ruzhou highway ribbon topographic survey design, thework is done as follows:(1) Combine the Dengfeng-Ruzhou highway to elaborate the Airborne LightLaser Detection And Ranging technology applied in the mountainous stripe highwaysurvey design, meanwhile make a detailed introduction of the Airborne Light LaserDetection And Ranging technology for data acquisition, data processing and digitalproduct production methods.(2) Use some columns module of TerraSolid software to process the AirborneLight Laser Detection And Ranging data. Including the classification and filteration ofthe laser points in TerraScan module, and the restructuration of laser points inTerraModeler module after been filtered and interpolated to generate DEM, makeDOM in TerraPhoto module and finally use DOM vectorization method to map the1:2000digital DLG.(3) Use total station,GPS-RTK to check accuracy of Airborne Light LaserDetection And Ranging data product: DOM’s plane accuracy is±0.15m(tolerance of ±0.8m),DEM’s elevation accuracy is±0.12m(tolerance of±0.2m),DLG point’s planeaccuracy is±0.47m(tolerance of±0.6m) and elevation accuracy is±0.38m(toleranceof±1.0m,i.e.±1/2contour interval),DEM cross-sectional elevation have the sameaccuracy with DEM elevation,that is±0.12m(check tolerance of±0.2m),theseaccuracies are able to meet the general specification in highway surveying, and clarifythe feasibility of Airborne Light Laser Detection And Ranging technology forhighway survey design.
