The initiative use of AP1000(the third-generation nuclear technology) in Chinahas a profound influence. AP1000nuclear power plant is a great challenge totraditional design and construction method. The third-generation nuclear technologyis based on the experience before absorption, also to regulate the latest security as thestandard, the design idea of using passive safety, so that the target of safety of threegeneration nuclear power plants have been built higher than nuclear power plant byabout two orders of magnitude. The design and construction of three nuclear powerstations are based on modular, this is a very big challenge to the traditional idea, forexample, in the application of "dome module", construction technology of large scalestructure of module assembling, transportation, hoisting, installation and laying ofconcrete, such as monitoring and control the difficulty will be in the process ofconstruction of the three door reflected. In this paper, through the analysis and summary of the existing literature at homeand abroad, analyzes the characteristics of the module. Based on this, discusses thesystem of "the characteristics and difficulties in civil construction of the domemodule". Then from the module of hoisting and installation and concrete pouringthree links, to build three nuclear power station practice as the basis, deep about theconstruction technology of dome module. The construction scheme, not only toprovide a successful and efficient construction scheme for the application of domemodule in the three nuclear power stations in the project, and laid a solid foundationfor civil engineering construction of the world, pointed out the development direction.
