This paper describes the development of power quality monitoring technology in thepower system. Algorithm of power system parameters to be measured in this meter isstudied. Methods of the hardware platform in traditional and embedded instrumentationpower meters are compared. Then instrument program based on electrical energymeasurement IC and embedded system for power meters is introduced and designed. Inthis paper, with the advantage of embedded system,it is a potent supplement to thetraditional power monitoring field.Based on deeply researching the characteristics of S3C2410and the use ofperipherals, this paper detailed expatiates the whole configuration of system and thedesign of every function interface. The peripheral initialization procedure is programmedsimultaneity. This paper successfully settles communication and register read and writeproblems of ARM processor and AD energy chip and transplants μC/OS-II on theS3C2410.And assigned the prioritization of every instrument function task. In addition, the proposed design to add a new wireless networking capabilities, the study found, thefunction has great application prospects.Firstly, this paper introduces simply development of power surveillance andapplications of embedded technology in this domain.Secondly, this paper introduces thewhole system design. This paper expatiates the r key technologies of the data transferbetween ARM chip S3C2410and the ADE7758, and finally focuses on the keydevelopment in the μC/OS-II kernel module. It can be foreseen that the power monitors will become a necessary part of powersystem and the technique of remote monitors also will become a new cross course. At thesame time, the power monitor will become a huge market and have economic andscientific performance....
