With the increasing popularity of Formula student of china in college universities, each school for racing performance requirements have gradually improved. The operational stability of the car may affect the corner speed and the lap, so the key to enhancing the operational stability of the racing car is upgrading suspension performance design. Thus, dynamic simulation and optimization of suspension is an important issue. For operation stability problems of Formula racing, first of all, based on experience and experiment,it will come to reasonable suspension design, and it will lay a good foundation on the following dynamic simulation and finite element design. Design parameters of the various components of the car to design the suspension parameters and geometry. Secondly, build the finite model of wishbone and upright, and make it finite element analysis from the stress and deformation to become more reasonable. Finally, use multi-body dynamics simulation of virtual prototyping technology to create dynamic model of the car suspension and the full car, analyze suspension motivate action and movement characteristics, and further research how the structural characteristics and mechanical parameters of the suspension system of the car affact the operational stability of the car. After Parallel wheel analysis, get the mechanical parameters curves of the suspension. If parameters do not meet the design requirements, use adams/insight software to optimization analysis.Make the location parameters the design target and the suspension hard points as design variables, get reasonable parameters curves, and make the parameters of the suspension at a reasonable range to achieve the optimal performance of the suspension. So that I will make full use of the operational performance of the suspension, to achieve high speed in the corner.
