With the rapid development of automobile industry, the production and sales all riserapidly, these cars will face with various requirements throughout all the life cycle,such as the requirements for maintenance and repair irregular in the process of use andthe ones for disassembly and scrapped after recycling. However, both in themaintenance and repair or scrap recycling will cause the resource shortage andenvironmental pollution and a series of problems. Automobile engine as a corecomponent of automotive products, have a direct impact on the automobile’s powerperformance, economy performance and handling. Therefore, in the face of differentrequirements, how to carry out the core parts of automobile such as engine’sdisassembly, recycling as efficient as possible in order to improve the utilization ratehas become the research hot spot of automobile "green technology", which is also animportant subject for the automotive industry.This paper researches and analyses the typical complex product disassemblyinformation modeling and solving method, combines automobile engine productstructure model and the mixed graph model as structure-mix model which used todescribe the disassembly information of engine. Through the establishment of a3Dmodel of a engine to accurately obtain the connection information and constraintinformation between internal parts, and the disassembly requirements of engine aresummarized into two categories: use requirement and the recovery requirement.Automatic disassembly planning theory and technology of engine has been researched,also presents the methods for parallel disassembly planning and object selectivedisassembly planning based on artificial bee colony algorithm, which to solve enginedisassembly planning problems under different requirements mode. A software basedon VB.net for engine disassembly planning has been developed, which provides areliable and efficient automatic method to realize the disassembly planning ofautomobile engine products. finally, an example of HFC4GB2engine is provided forthe disassembly verification to illustrate the availability of the presented approach.
