Studies On Life Cycle Cost Management Of Zaoyuan Hotel Project In Yan’an

With the economy of our country developing constantly, hotel trades keep growing, andfive-star hotels increase fast in number. The investment to advanced traders hotels is very largeand this project has its own traits that are different with other ones, therefore, during itsconstruction the cost will be out of control for its “3exceeding phenomenon” and otherproblems. Studies on cost management of advanced traders hotels projects ought to becarried out, and make sure the cost amount and effective control to use money effectively, savecost and promote benefits of economy and society.The traits of advanced traders hotels are mainly analyzed and key influential factors onhotel project cost are showed in this article; compared Life Cycle Cost Management withwhole process cost management, the advantages and disadvantages, different points of bothare given. Using the whole life cycle cost management, The significance, methods, key pointsand problems of cost management are analyzed in the project decision stage, the designstage, the bidding stage, the construction stage, the completion acceptance stage and theoperation-maintenance stage of advanced traders hotels; In the last part of the article, takeYan’an Zaoyuan hotel project as an example to evaluate each stage of cost management,somebeneficial suggestions are posed as references of similar projects.
