With the development of times, the metro construction has been an important part of city modernization construction, stepping into an unprecedented rapid development. The construction of the metro project is a very complex process, which has a long cycle, large cost, complex construction and varied geological conditions. It is a very important problem the subway builder faces that how to achieve accurately the metro engineering cost valuation and to carry on the effective control.The whole life cycle cost includes the construction cost and operation cost. Because the metro engineering has many uncertainties, whose construction cost and quantities show the complex nonlinear relationship. It is not reasonable with the existing methods on the construction cost valuation. Owing to the lack of standardized methods at present stage, it has always been a difficult problem to determine the operation cost. In addition, engineering operation cost and project construction cost are negatively correlated. So, only consider the construction cost or operating cost are unneutral. This article intends to use genetic neural network algorithm in the whole life cycle cost of metro project to determine and control its cost with in-depth analysis and research.At first, the article describes the research background, research significance, research status at home and abroad, introducing the research content; Secondly, the theory related about whole life cycle cost management of metro project are analyzed; Thirdly, the metro method for determining the whole project life cycle cost(neural network) is studied; Fourth, the control methods and measures about the whole life cycle cost of metro project are discussed in this paper; Finally, with metro line 1 in Shijiazhuang as an example for the whole life cycle cost, the paper introduces the application of the control method for.
