Planning Mode Of Large Residential Area——An Empirical Study Of Dingqiao And Jiubao In Hangzhou

Under the background of urbanization, urban construction work is being carried out a comprehensive. Large residential areas, a kind of city space which emerging in this construction tide, has many realistic problems and contradictions in itself and between the development of city. Such as the fracture between residential area and urban space, the emerging " commuter town" phenomenon, the traffic "pendulum effect" and so on. At the same time, related research of the planning model of large residential district is relatively few, there is a lack of sorting and comparing the planning modes of different periods, and its theory system is still not perfect.This paper carried out analysis and study on the planning mode of large residential area in this context. First of all, through analyzing the historical evolution process, through the longitudinal comparison, to clarify its origin; secondly, through summarizing and analyzing the current residential status problems by two empirical cases, which are called Hangzhou Dingqiao residential area and Hangzhou Jiubao residential area, through the horizontal comparison, discusses the present and future development impact of public construction ratio of the residential area; in the end, based on the comparison and summary before, explore the future large residential area planning model, to prospect its future.This study aims to explore a large residential area planning model, which can create a good living environment, and be in harmony with urban development, in order to supplement and expand on the related theories, providing useful ideas for the current city construction.
