The park is a site to fulfill the needs of enjoy spiritual and nature life that requiring planningdesigners adhere to the "people-oriented" basic principle permanently to create space, nevertheless thesituation that function has been instead of design form and underutilized rate of achievement decreaseis particularly prevalent. country park is a crucial construction project since the construction of newsocialist countryside, however, domestic relevant theoretical research system is still not improve andperfect and short on practical experience, the dramatic aesthetic discrepancy between designers andusers always result in the mismatch between the expected behavior assumed by designers and theactual behavior conducted by users, the reason lies in the absence of Post-Occupancy Evaluation andfeedback process of information in the planning process. Therefore, the main method ofPost-Occupancy Evaluation is introduced into the studyˋand then put forward the countermeasuresand suggestions of planning.Based on evaluation theory related to country park both at home and abroad, six typical countryparks in northern Zhejiang are selected as research subjects. Three theories named participantobservation method, flat-screen cartography and data-statistics method are combined in the theory. From the two-dimensional viewpoint of time and space, and combined with personal-related socialfactors such as gender and age, and then empirically studied about users of the daily visits numbers, spatial and temporal distribution, activity types, activities and behavior characteristics, these figuresare analyzed by Excel and AutoCAD software, and the results shows:(1) the amount of daily visitsnumber has no single direct correlation with park scale, nevertheless are also significant correlationwith accessibility and distribution of function;(2)the fluctuation of users’ distribution of spatial andtemporal is volatile, and in the evening hours park users accounted for the highest proportion of thetotal number;(3)in general terms, open activity space and sports sites contribute to higher utilizationrates, in addition, weather such as light, temperature, sunset time and other factors greatly affect users’activities location and types;(4)the users of different gender, age and occupation hold diverseterritorialism and timeliness features;(5)The history culture and landscape characteristic has not beenshowed perfectly.
