Research On Endowment Service Facilities Planning Of Gulou District Of Nanjing Based On Need-oriented

With the increasing aging population, the demand of endowment service is growing. Theminiaturization of families has led to the weakening of traditional family support functions, andthe dependence on social endowment facilities of older people is growing. Endowment servicefacilities is a class of very important public service facilities, the purpose of building it is tomeet basic daily living care for the elderly, in order to provide a more comfortable retirementenvironment for them. However, the current system of social endowment service is just in itsinfancy, every aspect is still not perfect, supply and demand are in contradiction.Gulou District is located in the core area of Nanjing, being shortage of land resource,facing the contradiction between inadequate endowment service facilities and heartyendowment demand. This study is rely on<The Master Plan of Nanjing Gulou District(2013-2030)>, taking Gulou District as the research object. It focuses on the analysis of themain issues of endowment service facilities in Gulou District of Nanjing and proposesappropriate countermeasures, having strong practical significance to improve the system ofsocial endowment service in Gulou District and providing a reference to endowment servicefacilities planning for other regions and other cities.Firstly, this article defines the concepts, researches the views of scholars at home andabroad about endowment demand and endowment patterns, along with the development ofendowment service facilities in developed contries, and carries out a detailed analysis of thestatus of the elderly population and endowment service facilities of Gulou District. Byarranging the relevant department policy documents, unscrambling the main standards,arranging the host and the relevant planning, doing horizontal comparative analysis with othermajor cities, this article summarizes the main problems of the pensions. Then, through siteinvestigation, case interviews, questionnaires and other forms to understand the endowmentdemand of the elderly in Gulou District, and then proposes these two main issues——community endowment is in short supply and institutional endowment is dislocation of supplyand demand. Finally, based on this thesis, this article raises the overall objectives and basicprinciples of endowment service and builds a system of endowment service facilities of Gulou District. And then, it does a planning layout of endowment service facilities and takes YiJiangmen Street as a typical case for empirical research.Due to the data statistics difficulties brought from the administrative divisions and thelimited professionalism of author, the research methods and conclusions of this article are to beimproved, and I hope I can be doing more in-depth research on this topic.
