| In recent years,gardens play an important role for improvement of urban environment, and more and more attention has been paid. Along with its fast development, a sound market economy puts forward higher request to garden construction costs. Numerous studies have shown that it is very effective to control the cost in garden design stage, which yields lower project costs overall. Sometimes, the function in demand and the actual constructional one does not match during the design stage, thus it impacts the cost control. In view of these situations, this thesis evaluates and optimizes the design scheme by the theory of the value engineering, in order to meet functional requirements as well as tominimize the project investment, and promote the healthy development of the landscape industry.According to the characteristics of garden, features of project cost control and the problems occurred during design stage, this thesis conducts a comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the application in common cost control methods during design phase, so as to prove that value engineering is the best way for garden project engineering. By comparison of a variety of methodsof functional evaluationexiting in core link in value engineering, we conclude that analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is a systematic scientific evaluation method, however, the existence of objective function of the shortcomings of fuzzy judgment is not accurate.so this thesisuses a combination of both analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy mathematics method, that is fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to evaluate the garden function index, on the basis of predecessors’ research, it optimizes the method of value engineering. This thesis mainly studies the theory application for value engineering in the garden design scheme selection and preliminary design phase design optimization of these two aspects, itovercomes the defects of traditional cost control method, as well as to supplement disadvantage of the application for value engineering during the garden design phase. Under the premise of meeting the demand of garden project construction function, it also makes the cost control more scientific and reasonable during garden design stage.Finally, it takes an example as a practical case study, the project of Future Technology City Waterfront Park, introduces in detail the application of value engineering method, and reflects the close combination of theory and practice in further.This thesis shows that the value engineering theory based on fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is an effective way for cost control duringgarden design phase, which plays an important role to meet the demand of each function of garden project construction, save the cost and enhance the value of the whole project. |
