Abstract/Summary:
In today’s world, human beings have created great material and spiritual civilizations, and this fast development is supported by the consuming of non-renewable energy resources, like coal, petroleum and natural gas etc. In a near future, all these resources can be used up and every country has confronted with the energy crisis. Sustainable development has become the common sense. As a huge consumer of the energy resources, construction industry needs to adopt the sustainable development technologies.With the rapid economic development, urbanization and change in the industrial structures and patterns of social life, industrial production is changing from the labor-intensive to the technology-intensive which will lead to tremendous industrial construction. Usually, these buildings were built with rebar and concrete. In the industrial construction, deep and comprehensive researches as well as promoting the use of the light steel structure are benefit for the country and the people from the long run as well as from the short.Sustainable development, a strategic thinking, means to meet the needs of the present without compromising the needs of future generations. In a popular trend which requires energy conservation, greenness and eco-friendliness, the sustainable development in the industrial construction with light steel structure in the cold area become more and more important.Through researches into the foreign and domestic industrial construction with light steel structure, the thesis has a general idea of the researching status at home and abroad. After that, the author analyzed the problems existed in the sustainable development of the light steel structure in buildings in cold areas. Based on these findings, the thesis sums up the technologies used in the industrial buildings with light steel structure in cold areas: energy-saving technology in outer envelope structure, solar energy integration, natural lighting and ventilation and some other sustainable development technologies, which is a proper package of technologies suitable for the sustainable development in light-steel-structure industrial buildings in cold areas. The last part, through the analysis of the cases of industrial buildings with light steel structure, the paper analyzes these technologies putting into use, which can be helpful for the construction in the future.
