Electrical box is one of the most important electrical equipment of fighters. It is widelyused in power supply system, landing gear system, lighting system, fuel system, aircraftcontrol system, air conditioning system, gas supply system, prevent freezing system, theengine starting system and indicator system. The work status of the electrical boxes affectsoverall flight safety. Therefore, test and error detection of the whole electrical box is verysignificant for airplane quantity and flying security during aircraft assembly and maintenance.This topic comes from an aircraft corporation electrical box detection task. According tomission requirements, current situation of electrical box detection technology at home andabroad is comprehensively analyzed; a test system based on relay array is designed. In thesystem C8051F130single-chip microcomputer is used as the core unit. It controls FPGA todrive the relay array on or off, and forms different detection circuits to detect the workingcondition of the electrical boxes. Through the communication between the master computerand single chip microcomputer, real-time control and display of the measurement results areachieved. The system can complete all kinds of new electrical box testing by using mastercomputer to program different Conduction Tables. The shortcoming, that one kind of testingequipment can only test one kind of product defect before, can be overcome.This paper introduces the overall scheme of implementation of the electrical box testsystem in detail, and logic test principle and method of electrical box are expounded. The testmethod includes electrical box on-off logic test, resistance and capacitance testing, analog testand so on, the design of hardware circuit and software debugging are also introduced. Toimprove the test accuracy and efficiency, high-performance optical coupling, relay,high-speed MCU and FPGA are adopted, and comprehensive self-checking electrical box isalso designed to complete self-verifying before test. At last, visual man-machine interfaceeasy to staff operation and use is designed.The fighter’s electrical box products designed in this paper has been used in the testing task by an aircraft industry corporation. Its function and technical indicators meet the demandof practical application, and running effect is good.
