With the development of technology,multi-core cables are used to connect and communicate large-scale equipments in many fields.A large part of the fault of large equipments comes from the failure of connecting cable,so whether the cable is working properly becomes an important standard for the reliability test of large equipments.The traditional conduction test is mainly carried out by manual inspection,the main problems of artificial detection include: low test efficiency,inaccurate accuracy,large number of tests,low safety and so on.Common conduction testing include:conduction test of equipment and connecting cables,on-resistance test of cables,insulation test of cables and resistance test inside the equipment,diode voltage drop test,etc.This article summarizes the current principles of wire continuity testing at home and abroad,as well as the commonly used test methods.In conjunction with existing research techniques,it conducts research in terms of improving the efficiency of turnon test,improving test accuracy,and reducing the work intensity of testers.A conduction test system based on the Atmega64 microcontroller is designed.The multi-chip single-ended 8-channel multi-channel switch is used for general conduction test.The relay control circuit is used for special conduction test.All test signals are converted into stable feedback signals by the conditioning circuit,which are collected by the single chip microcomputer and transmitted to the upper computer in real time.The upper computer software is designed based on LabWindows environment.All signals are uploaded synchronously through RS232 serial port,and the test results are stored in excel format.It has the functions of fault alarm,error screen shots and so on,which is convenient for comparative analysis of test results.Through the research and design of the pilot test system,it can realize the special test of 644 road and 64 road.According to the requirements of the continuity test,the host computer can select the "integral conduction" or "conducting conduction" test mode,the conduction test of on-board electrical control device and its accessory cables are carried out.The overall system performance good and stable.The test system test has the following characteristics: all channels are circular test to ensure the accuracy of test channel,the test content is diverse,and the digital quantity and analog signal are tested.Expansibility is good,we can define test ports according to different test contents,and conduct test channel expansion according to task requirements.
