With the energy crisis aggravated, human is seeking for the new energy sourceinstead of the conventional energy source. The stored of solar energy is huge and clean,utilized conveniently, so it was energetically exploited and utilized. PV is as one of themain methods of solar energy utilization. Since the costs of power generation is too high,the efficiency of photon-to-current conversion is lower, the quantity of electricity isinstable, difficult to apply it far and wide. Now, the holder of PV array used the fixeddevice for the most part. If the holder of PV array used the tracking device, it can makethe most of solar radiation energy for enhancing generated electricity quantity.The paper came up with the optimized intermittent-tracking method. Bymathematical modelling, it contrasted the process of intermittent tracking and theutilization of solar-radiation energy situation. The paper demonstrated that it can improvethe efficiency of photoelectric utilized the optimized intermittent-tracking method, andreduce the frequency of start and stop, so lower the system consumption. The paperselected more accurate the algorithm of declination angle and equation of time tocalculate the sun position, both declination angle and equation of time are importantparameter which influenced the precision calculation of sun position. Because both theorbit of solar tracking and the photoelectric tacking have severally disadvantages, thepaper used the combination of methods to make up for each of disadvantages as themode of solar photovoltaic tracking. Fine day, the system mainly carried out the orbit ofsolar tracking, and used the photoelectric tacking as correction. The system adjusted thesolar array to the sun position after half hour in advance, then have a rest on half an hour,if the detection signal exceed the fixed value, the system start on the photoelectrictacking. Conversely, sequentially have a rest on half an hour, finish a tracking period.Cloudy day, the system only carry out the orbit of solar tracking. Rainy day, the system stop tracking.The system of solar photovoltaic was designed on the hardware and software basedon TMS320F2812DSP as controlling core, the hardware part mainly contained thereal-time clock module, the photoelectric detection module, DC motor drive module, theposition detection module, power supply module and so on. The system carried out thedual-closed-loop control on the speed and current in order to improve the overallperformance, used MATLAB/simulink for the system simulation. Lastly, through thecomparative tests showed the tracking accuracy of the system filled the bill,the controlsystem of photovoltaic tracking can effectively increase the use of solar-radiation energy.The solar photovoltaic system can extend application, run well and low cost.
