The Protection And Reuse Of Industrial Heritage In Siping Area Jilin Province

As a very important part of the world cultural heritage, the Industrialheritage witnessed the development process of industrial civilization. As peopleimprove their consciousness of the protecting the buildings, the concept ofindustrial heritage gradually steps into people’s sight. Due to the emergence anddamage of the industrial heritage, conservation and reuse of industrial heritagehas been on attention, becomes a new hot research topic currently.This essay study is an item of national natural science fund project researchof my tutor. The research object is the industrial heritage in Siping area, by usingthe method of collecting data, sort and analysis the industrial heritage of Sipingarea. Known by historians as the “Oriental Madrid” and heroic city, Siping is anindustrial city and fast developed of modern industrialized regions. But with thedevelopment of industrial productivity and the adjustment of industrial structure,upgrading and other factors, lead to a large of number of factories closures, leftplenty of plant and equipment, thus leaving a valuable industrial heritage.The main issue is to clear the system of excavation and arrangement ofmodern industrial heritage data in Siping area, based on the survey data, explorethe formation and development of the modern industrial buildings, understandand evaluate a new exploration in Siping area, deeply and systematically researchon the protection, utilization and development mode. According to the historicaldevelopment of Siping area and regional characteristics, assess the value ofSiping regional industrial heritage; enhance the city image and regionalcompetitiveness.The article is divided into four parts:The first chapter mainly introduces the research purpose, significance,research background and content, as well as research methods, framework and domestic industrial heritage.The second chapter is based on the data excavated and arranged of theindustrial heritage of Siping area; introduce the historical development,investigation and feature of regional industrial heritage.The third chapter through the investment and analysis of the industrialheritage in Siping area, evaluate the value of the industrial heritage of Sipingarea, study the method of the protection strategy and the reuse method.The fourth chapter is based on the previous chapters, puts forward theindustrial heritage of Siping area, raises existing problems and causes, and usesthe example to explore and analyze the industrial heritage of Siping areadevelopment model.
