Automotive ride comfort is one of the major performances of modern high-speed and high-performance vehicles.It directly affects the ride comfort and the safety of the goods. According to an actual vehicle,The paper has built complex car model and road model for ride simulation analysis using ADAMS/Car. In accordance with the relevant evaluation method, the author analyzed and evaluated The simulation results.First,a virtual prototype model including front suspensions, rear suspensions^steering、powertrain、brake and tires etc is established using ADAMS/Car,and proved right by means of ADAMS/CAR Ride.The author compiled spectrum file for the simulation of road.The car—road model has combined simulation on the B Random Road and pulse road based on the ADAMS virtual environment.According to the requirements of GB/T4970-2009《Method of running test—Automotive of ride comfort》, the final analysis indicates the virtual prototype model has better ride comfort when passing on Random Road and pulse road, and is able to satisfy the requirements of comfort.Finally, the paper has analysed the factors of influencing ride comfort and summarized the tendency. Based on ADAMS/Insight module designing optimization scheme for comfort,the optimization results indicates the scheme can obviously improve the ride comfort of car.
