Again, sheltersconstituent elements, design principles, differences and similarities between urbanand rural shelters are analyzed to point out the basic principles that needs to befollowed in shelters design; Finally, according to analysis above,10proposals offour major types of rural shelters which consistent with Jiangxi geographicalfeatures are being designed.Shelters designed in this Article, analysis from size and function of servicesettlement and to divide rural passenger shelters function levels, thus shelters aredivided into4types which are multi-functional, standard, simple and transform. Forlocation selected, Compared with the existing shelters, average is conquered and therelationship between the shelters and rural settlements is fully considered; for design,Jiangxi geography and climate, Jiangxi rural economy, rural settlements constructionin Jiangxi cultural characteristics are taken into account; for function, it is beingimproved, local residents living habits, characteristics of Jiangxi rural roads, ruralpassenger transport and other aspects are fully taken into consideration. Through research, fully functional passenger shelters that in line with the characteristics ofJiangxi rural are being designed, thus to provide a efficient, fast, safe, andcomfortable waiting environment for rural residents, so as to achieve researchpurpose.
