With the development of economic life in modern social and expansion of industrial scale, the requirement for electricity is increasing, and power systems will also continue to expand. Against this background, the structure and operation of a power system is increasing complex and changeable, which resulting in people putting forward some higher requirements of security, economy and quality of power supply for the development of the power system. In power systems, a system of voltage data acquisition and analysis is responsible for data acquisition, measurement, parameter adjustment, a variety of signal alarm and other functions of those equipments which are operated in power industrial fields. The system of voltage data acquisition and analysis plays an irreplaceable role in improving grid reliability, security and economic benefits, reducing the burden on the dispatchers, and achieving the power system scheduling and automation. However, there are many challenges in the implementation of the voltage data acquisition and analysis system, which are derived from the diversity of data acquisition equipments, communication protocols, communication modes and data storage formats. In order to response to these challenges, a full-featured software of voltage data acquisition and analysis is designed and developed in this paper. The main research works of this thesis are as follows:First of all, a universal software platform for voltage data acquisition and analysis is built in this thesis, combining the operating status and the development trend of power systems. The platform is designed as a four layer framework, including eight functional components, namely, communication interface component, communication mode component, communication protocol component, data acquisition component, display component of graphical and instrument, remote equipment upgrading component, database management component and algorithm component of soft data recall. Besides, a rigorous testing of components and software platform is carried out after realizing each functional component.Secondly, the voltage data acquisition and analysis software for Shunyang is developed based on the aforementioned software platform. The software implements voltage data acquisition which is compatible with various means of communication (LAN/GPRS), communication protocols (Zhejiang Protocol/simple protocol), and monitoring equipments (DT1/DT3/DT5) on the basis of taking advantage of these components of the platform. Furthermore, the software is designed to have richer functionality, such as automatic communication, automatic data recall, manual communication, conditional data recall、WEB communication, soft data recall and remote equipment upgrading, etc.Finally, the voltage data acquisition and analysis software for Shunyang is being used in Yuyao Power Supply Bureau. The result of practical applications shows that the software is able to acquire various types of voltage data efficiently and in real time, including types of A, B, C and D. Meanwhile, it reduces data acquisition costs and enhances the integrity, reliability, continuity and consistency of voltage data.
