In the field of electric power,along with the reform of electricity management system,power generation enterprises need improve the production efficiency and management level to ensure profitability and long-term survival on the basis of digitizing power plants.This thesis aims to build a 3D digital system of the thermal power plant so that to improve information management level and revenue from the management level.With the rapid development of computer technology,internet technology and computer graphics technology,Web3D technology emerges on the network to realize computer vision and applying virtual reality in network has become possible.WebGL technology is a kind of web virtual reality technology developed in recent years,which has a cross-platform and multi-browser compatibility.WebGL related technologies are adopted to establish the virtual scene of thermal power plant and realize the interactive operation in this thesis.The main work includes the following.(1)The principles and key technologies of VRML,Java3D,HTML5 and WebGL the Web3D are analyzed,and the latter two of them are chosen to be the main techniques in this thesis.(2)GPU hardware acceleration principle,image rendering principle and Three.js engine library of WebGL are studied,and Three.Js engine to realize web interaction capabilities for a built three-dimensional model is explored.(3)Comparing the characteristics of two 3D modeling technologies,this thesis chooses the 3D Max software for virtual scene modeling.Besides,connecting with Three.js,JQuery and DWR tools,the functions of the virtual roaming and real-time data monitoring are realized and the job of virtual power plants displaying and data monitoring on the web is completed.The 3D visual monitoring system of thermal power plant in this thesis majors in real-time monitoring,data display,virtual roaming and real-time data.With advantages like free of plug-in running in web,real-time rendering of the browser,human-computer interaction and outstanding scene details,the system can bring strong immersive for users.This system applies virtual reality to the monitoring system,and can serve as the basis of digital power plant that provides technical support for creating a muti-function complex system which can roudly and vividly display three-dimensional images of digital power plant.
