Research On Products Ergonomics Requirement Oriented To Environmental Consciousness

During the evolution of human, design has always been to meet human needs. With thedevelopment of modern society, the shoddy products, the flashy exaggerated design andthe rapid iteration commercial goods accelerated the consumption of resources, and theenvironmental deterioration. Design has become the obstacles to the sustainabledevelopment of human society. Therefore, which needs should be meet has become anissue; we should re-examine what the function of design and consider how to meet theneeds.From the origin of design, design has been changed from the relationship of "betweenthings and things" to the relationship of "between things and people", and furtherevolved to the system of “objects, people and environment” in modern civilization. Inthe current social context, it requires the designers to have environmental awareness andenvironmental thinking, and must be able to design not only to meet human needs butalso to meet the needs of the natural products.Along with the development of the Ergonomics,"people-oriented" design concept isgrowing in popularity. Designers always care about man-machine relationship, and meetthe man-machine demands. Basically, under the environmental consciousness, designshould be "based on nature"; there are harmony symbiosis and conflicts both inman-machine and nature. In the current situation, how to balance the current designbased on natural and human harmony, how to simultaneously meet the needs of naturaland human demands for product, how to solve product green demand and thecontradiction between human demands have become the significant problems.Based on the theory of green design and ergonomics, using the Maslow’s hierarchy ofneeds as the cornerstone, from the perspective of "human needs", the research analyzethe convergence and contradiction between green demand and human demand, and tryto use the theory of TRIZ methods to solve the contradiction between them, the researchtry to build a solution system to solve the needs problem, and want to achieveintegration of them. Finally, the author uses a product design case, to verify the solutionsystem, proves its efficiency and ability to solve the practical problems. This researchalso provides the basis for solving the similar problem in Product Design, and it will bea beneficial exploration to the method of Green Product Design.
