| Hydropower development in China has last more than one hundred years, in the one hu-ndred years, our country’s hydropower enterprise develops from nothing, becomes prosperous after decadence. Now with a total installed capacity of200million kilowatts ranks on the top of the world. China’s hydropower goes through the extraordinary history. The development p-roves that hydropower is the foundation of the nation and kingdom.It has an irreplaceable role in the development of national economy.Today,the water resources and hydraulic power proj-ects has been at an another hard time,i.e.the time of developing the water resources in the we-stern regions where there is rich water resources and arduous conditions.Here earthquake int-ensity is high,the geological condition is poor,but the valley conditions here is fit for building the middle or high arch dams.So,the related analysis of arch dam at the seismic loads is of gr-eat significance. The object of this paper is the seismic digital analog analysis and safety eva-luation to Xiangbiling arch dam using ANSYS the finite element analysis software.Xiangbiling hydropower station is located at the junction of Guizhou province Weining county and Yunnan province Huize county.which is the third cascade system of Niulanjiang river planning cascade of hydropower station. Its upstream is Dayandong hydropower stati-on,and downstream is Xiaoyandong hydropower station.Its catchment area is11345km2,total reserver capacity is263000000m3, mainly development is power generation.and installed ca-pacity is240MW.the basis intensity of this project site is VII degree,and the seismic fortific-ation intensity is VII degree too.In this paper, we made a few aspects:(1) Analysis the frequency.the modes and other static and dynamic response of the dam and so on;(2) Analysis the seismic response of the arch dam model without considering the trans-verse joints.This section includes static and dynamic analysis and safety evaluation of the arch dam using ANSYS.Analysis the deformation and stress of the arch dam through the calculati-on of three dimensional elastic finite element under basic load combination and incidental lo-ad combination.Deal with the calculation results equivalently according to the regulatory req- uirements.And give the evaluation of the dam stress on whether meet the regulatory requirem-ents;(3) Make the same kinds of analysis and safety evaluation by the contact analysis met-hod,and make the calculation of transverse joints aperture of the dam,considering the arch da-m transverse joints. |
