Nowadays, it has been paid wide attention to realize real-time monitoring for the temperature of HV cable joint. Acquisition of the temperature and current of HV cable joint is helpful to manufacture and work well in power supplying system. Therefore, monitoring system is in HV, the problem of high potential circuit power supply is the key problem of the research. For the solution of New Type of Temperature Monitoring System, HV hanging-up electromagnetic induction supply is proposed. Not only the theory, but also the really circuit are presented in this paper. Based on the theory of electromagnetic induction, the power supply draws the energy from the power line directly, then through rectification, filtering and voltage regulation. In addition, in order to protect the circuit in the condition of high current in the power line, the design plan is added by control branch circuit and diode protection circuit, and storage battery stand-by for low current. The safe and reliable supplying for the New Type of Temperature Monitoring System has been realized by this power.
