Research On Identification Methods Of Airport Hot Spots Based On Historical Data

With the increase of traffic flow in an airport whose configuration is complicated, the conflict probability of aircraft which are taxing in maneuvering area also increases gradually. It’s also important and meaningful to identify and designate airport hot spots, so that the flight operation can be guaranteed, the ground operation efficiency can be improved.Based on historical data in this paper, data processing cycle is designed to preprocess, aircraft trajectory is researched, and the usage of taxiway is analyzed, such as minimum taxing speed in parallel taxiway, taxing sorties in quick vacated taxiway, holding time and sorties for aircraft waiting outside of the holding point of runway, and taxing sorties in taxiway which is linked between east and west runway, and then analyzed the use condition of taxiway and runway for aircraft.Research on classical model of aircraft surface taxing, considering the characteristics of taxing speed in different conditions and process for landing aircraft, taking the vacated process of landing aircraft as an example, a judgment model for abnormal taxing state of aircraft is established, which is verified by using MATLAB, this method is different from conventional any two or more aircraft taxing collision detection model, abnormal taxing state of aircraft is judged from a new perspective.Research on frontline identification process of airport hot spots, abnormal taxing state of aircraft is taken into consideration, based on clustering analysis, the method of hot spots identification is studied, taking an airport as an example, the hot spots are identified and designated by the system, which is verified by airport controllers, the feasibility of this method is proved.
