Straw briquette fuel is the utilization of biomass energy in technology is relatively mature, butbecause of the biomass fuel, there is a widespread high lignin content of the materialcharacteristics, makes the raw material is bigger to the wear and tear of the machine in theprocess of forming, high energy consumption, thus affecting the biomass cold pressing moldingforming ability and ability, influence of biomass shaped fuel transport and use of follow-up, sofrom the perspective of environmental protection and reasonable utilization of resources,basedon corn straw, traditional Chinese medicine residue, forestry waste branches as raw material, thispaper does research on the effects of different pretreatment methods on physical properties ofbiomass briquette by adopting physical and chemical methods for the pretreatment of rawmaterials,and provides a theoretical basis for the further study of biomass fuel.By chemical experiment, three contents of the main components of biomasses are measured:cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. And lignin include corn straw:32.62,22.8,14.72, traditionalChinese medicine residue:27.48,21.44,20.14and corn straw:31.68,22.27,28.06. After theacid-base pretreatment of the three biomasses, the experimental results show that the cellulosecontent of three biomass are significantly increased, while the content of lignin tends to decreasesignificantly, especially for the corn straw with24h-soak of NaoH, traditional Chinese medicineresidue with72h-soak of wet-mixed sulfuric acid and branches with24h-soak of NaoH.In order to determine the acid-base pretreatment process, raw materials are extruded to bemolding after the acid-base pretreatment, and the orthogonal experiment method is adopted to dothe experimental research by taking the physical characteristics of the briquette as index(relaxation density, shatter resistance and water resistance).The optimum process scheme theorthogonal experiment of three kinds of biomass is concluded after the research.In order to further determine the acid-base pretreatment process, the optimal pretreatmentprocesses of the three biomasses are respectively confirmed on the basis of the above-mentionedexperiments and the single factor experimental method:1. corn straw: heat NaoH at100℃after24h-soak for25minutes;2. traditional Chinese medicine residue: heat the sulfuric acid at90℃after24h-soak of wet-mixing for15minutes;3. branches: heat the NaoH at90℃after24h-soakfor15minutes. And the compressive strength experiments are conducted to verify theexperimental results, which are consistent with the results of the single factor experiments.
